RMi (Revenue Management Intelligence)
Unlike Rainmaker and IDEAS, RMi enables rapid setup and adoption and doesn't require a Phd to operate. Built in partnership with Duetto, RMi has enabled most properties to improve revenues by 3-5% over traditional methods. In many cases for the price of the annual support with Rainmaker or IDEAS, properties can procur and implement RMi.
RMi provides real world benefits
Academic literature suggests that a bid price-based system will increase profit by up to 3% for days with unconstrained demand (Baker & Collier, 1999)
Academic literature also suggests that using a length of stay-based forecast will increase revenues by as much as 2.94% for days with unconstrained demand (Weatherford ,1995)
RMi uses both a length of stay forecast approach and a bid price approach
Our conservative estimate for using RMi with full features is a 5% lift on cash hotel revenue and theoretical win on yieldable segments for days with unconstrained demand
RMi customized to match each property
Length of stay-based unconstrained forecasts for the following segment:
–Casino (divided by levels)
–FIT/Wholesale (packages)
–Opaque (Hotwire and Priceline)
