Aviana has developed for its clients a number of applications in the areas of Marketing (Predictive Modeling, Creation of Direct Marketing Lists, Email blasting), Finance (AIMF, Planning & Budgeting), and Operations (Eligibility, Bed Days, Quality of Care).

The technologies used have spanned a number of platforms based on the current environment of the client.
Our projects have included a Geographic Information Systems (GIS) tied in with Tax Revenue data - designed to facilitate strategic planning and what-if scenarios, with ESRI, Microsoft and Oracle components. A Customer service application for a major financial institution in Southern California for inquiry and reporting into selected user transaction data for financial product utilization patterns using Microsoft technologies. Database access was implemented via ODBC to the transaction data.

Data Warehousing and Data Mart Experience


  • A data warehouse that was designed and implemented for a major Bank to provide a complete picture of a customer's relationship over multiple products. The project was implemented for a select group of customers and used to analyze and plan strategy to improve utilization over 50% for the target group.
  • A Data Warehouse that was designed and architected for the Criminal Justice Division of a local county to mine and analyze Booking and Arrest data. This system was used by the county for "Three Strikes" impact analysis.
  • Data Warehousing/Data Mining and Oracle ERP capacity planning and implementation and customization assistance for a major consulting company in Southern California.
  • A Data Warehouse for a major Health Services organization, integrating encounters, billing, claims and authorizations presenting a unified view of a patient.
