Ananta Mukerji, founding partner of Aviana Global Technologies, has 25 years of managerial, functional and technical experience in the IT industry, including many years as a Big-5 management consultant. He is responsible for Aviana’s Business Intelligence (BI) and Analytics practice, in addition to being responsible for the strategic planning and direction of infrastructure technology at Aviana and for its clients.
Mr. Mukerji supports clients in the Automobile, Health Care, Public Utilities, Construction, Government, Manufacturing, Entertainment and Service industries. He is currently spearheading the innovative application of business intelligence technology and using its global service delivery model to solve critical, complex business problems for key clients – so empowering them to do more with less – a key strategic objective in today’s turbulent marketplace.
Prior to Aviana, Mr. Mukerji was a senior project manager in the Los Angeles office of Price Waterhouse. He has an MBA with a major in Computer Science and a minor in Finance from the University of Florida, Gainesville. He also has a BS in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur. Mr. Mukerji’s professional certifications include the Certified Health Care Finance Professional (CHFP) designation awarded by the Healthcare Financial Management Association; and the Certified Professional in Healthcare Information & Management Systems (CPHIMS) designation awarded by the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society.
Mr. Mukerji is a frequent speaker at BI and IT professional forums in Southern California, and he has also spoken as an invited lecturer at institutions such as the University of California, Los Angeles, University of California, Irvine and Pepperdine University. He serves on the Business Analytics Advisory Board of the California State University, Fullerton, and is active in the global IIT Alumni organization, where he served on the Board of Directors until 2007. Mr. Mukerji has been quoted in several publications, including the Los Angeles Times.
Mr. Mukerji lives with his wife and two children in Chino Hills, CA. He is a gourmet cook, and also enjoys yoga and reading. He is a member of HIMSS (Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society) and HFMA (Healthcare Financial Management Association).
